Who runs LoudCrowd
David Johnson, founder
David started out as an electrical engineer, moved into digital marketing, and has run LoudCrowd since 2016. For years the agency's job was making other people's phones ring: roofers, plumbers, estate agents, solicitors and mortgage brokers across South Yorkshire.
Then he did something most agency owners don't. He bought a tanning salon in Wombwell, then another in Wath upon Dearne, then a third in Conisbrough, and turned the agency's toolkit on his own businesses. That's why LoudCrowd talks about lead cost against lead value, booking-path tracking and map-pack rankings the way a shop owner does, not the way a slide deck does.
He speaks at conferences on an owner's life in business, most recently at SaaS SEO Alliance 2.0 in Delhi, and he is named in independent 2026 speaker roundups for SEO, GEO and AEO.
